@dailymail: Rising food prices are forcing low-income Indonesians to cut back on meals, with staples such as rice, tempeh and tofu becoming increasingly unaffordable. Rice prices have already reached record highs amid forecasts of delayed rains. War-related shipping disruptions, rising fuel and fertilizer costs, and El Niño-driven drought threaten to push prices higher. Global food inflation is expected to persist into 2027, putting further pressure on vulnerable Indonesian households. #indonesia🇮🇩 #food #asia #meals #inflation

😌 the food vendors in Indonesia, very small enterprises most of them, sidewalk kiosk, lowest of the low.. ARE THE HEROES... Those small restos/food hawkers fighting hard, scourging the supply chains to keep dish prices low, on many ways, so they could keep the already diminishing customers
- yet the govt didnt notice and dreaming about "next golden era"
