Buikdin a personal brand and being over 40 comes with one hell of an advantage: You've probably already spent decades getting good at something. The problem? The internet doesn't give a damn about your résumé. Nobody scrolling TikTok knows you have 20 years of experience. They don't know how many problems you've solved. They don't know how good you are with clients. They don't know that you've already built a career, raised a family, managed people, survived some shit and learned things somebody 25 years old simply hasn't lived long enough to learn yet. They know what your brand communicates. And if that brand looks uncertain, generic or thrown together, they're going to make assumptions about the business behind it. That's why I don't teach grown women to slap some beige on Canva and call themselves premium. Your brand has a bigger job than looking pretty.
