@jacobhudsn: The hidden jungle dangers… Three weeks into our expedition we turned into a new section of river and headed up stream. This section of the river was much shallower and meant we needed to walk upstream again pulling our kayak’s. But this stretch was covered with stingrays which would burrow into the sand and often be impossible to see. We made our way upstream and had to be so careful when jumping out that we didn’t step on these guys. It could’ve very easily ended the expedition. To avoid them we’d shuffle our feet along the sand hoping the edges of our toes would be enough to spook them and they’d swim away .
