It gave the appearance of flipping slowly through the air, showing an aluminum-like surface on one side and an olive-drab surface on the other, a flattened disc in profile. His statement estimates the speed at about 250 miles per hour; NICAP's catalog gives 200 to 350. When the lower object was almost directly overhead, it stopped, hovered a very short time, and then got smaller and smaller very rapidly until it disappeared.
