How many costs can you remove? Mobile, broadband, streaming services for music, television?

Wow as a kid we never went on holiday. Maybe a day out in Blackpool. A big treat was a chippy tea.

It’s obviously MUCH more expensive now & only getting worse. But devils advocate… many of our grandparents generation also couldn’t afford this. And the ones who could, they also didn’t pay for many of the things we do now: car finance / mobile phone contracts / tv packages / WiFi / subscriptions / gym memberships / takeaways / childcare / commuting 😭

Well back then not everyone has a car there were no mobile phone contracts. There was no broadband Sky subscriptions Apple subscriptions Paramount subscriptions Sky sports subscriptions.. they didn’t go to Magaluf three times a year. They didn’t demand to have four different Chanel bags. And all the kids didn’t demand to have the latest iPhone and the latest Balenciaga trainers.
