I feel like the adults in this comment section forget what it was like to be a growing teenager and being hungry all the time....they get one break and I'd bet that a lot of them aren't eating a proper breakfast because they need to wake up so early for school which may not be so bad as an adult but can really difficult for teenagers. if they're hungry they should be able to eat

Schools need to reinstate cafeteria's, and regulate lunch hour instead of expecting kids to eat at 10 & 1.

Damn my mom was annoyed giving me $5 a day for lunch in highschool at the cafeteria, these kids are spending upwards of probably $30 a day on delivery lunches??

I think a more interesting piece of journalism here is to ask WHY this is happening. Are both parents working and unable to pack lunch? Has funding for school lunches decreased? Do school lunches lack nutrition to feel full? Like why are they doing this

Ban delivery drivers from school property. If you bring it food without permission it gets thrown in the trash, if the parents complain, suspend the student, if they complain about that then expel them. The Education has become a joke and it shows.

The kids ordering food is one thing but parents ordering food to make sure their kid has lunch? Kids dont take leftovers from supper anymore?

Mind you, in high school there’s no more snack time or recess, so expecting growing kids to eat only ONCE for the day is kind of crazy. But I do understand the safety risk and disruption.. I’m sure there’s a way to come to a solution that works.

lunch times are shortened in high-school. elementary cut out one recess they only have lunch and afternoon recess now. its atrocious. I dont blame them. I would do the same.

How did we all survive for decades. What a ridiculous joke that these kids need uber and food deliveries to school. Ban it from the entire property. Pack a lunch and reinstate cafeterias that may have been removed. Insane 😳. This is a safety risk for strangers on the property and it’s not staffs job to accept food deliveries. Enough of making education a joke. Rein it in.

Why can’t they pack a lunch or go to the school cafeteria.. or walk to a place that sells food on their break like we all did

Just allow them to drop it off at the office but allow them to take it during lunch only? Why treat school like its a prison when they are ordering food.. something students need to eat.
