My wife is whimsical and loud. She loves dancing and getting very excited. I’m stoic, traditional and quiet. I never try to control her or change her. All I ask is that she doesn’t embarrass me in public or bring us too much attention. Respect and boundaries are healthy and good! Not all traditional men want to tame or control. In fact I love it and wish I was more like her but I’m not. I’m drawn to all her energy and personality. I also get embarrassed easy and turn bright red soooooo…. That’s why I ask her to be mindful in public lol so I don’t turn into a tomato and feel awkward.

It's essentially a hostile variant on "fixer" behavior. He sees you as a project, a broken thing to fix so it fulfills its intended purpose. Fixers want the project, not the end result, so if you're foolish enough to become want he wants, ironically he'll cheat on or leave you.

But whimsical doesn’t mean independent though lol. People forget there are very hyper feminine ‘domestic’ type women who are very whimsy and prefer traditional men.
