@breaking_footballnews: 🚨Ousmane Dembélé on facing Barcelona super-team on Champions League tomorrow. 🎙️REPORTER: Ousmane, Barcelona fans believe their team can beat anyone in Europe. What is your reaction to that confidence? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: Honestly, I laugh when I hear people hype Barcelona. I really do. I played there for six years, so I know that club very well. People talk about Barcelona like they are still the most frightening team in Europe, but when I look at them now, I don’t see anything special. 🎙️REPORTER: Are you saying Barcelona are not as good as people think? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: Absolutely. They have talented players, but talent and hype are two different things. Some of their players are treated like superstars before they have proved enough at the highest level. One good performance and suddenly everybody starts comparing them to legends. It is ridiculous. 🎙️REPORTER: Barcelona supporters will remind you that their team plays beautiful football and can dominate possession against almost anybody. 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: Possession doesn’t scare me. You can have the ball for 70 minutes and still lose the match. Football is not about who makes the most passes or who gets the loudest applause. It is about who hurts the opponent when it matters. And when we faced Barcelona last season, we showed that we could dominate them and beat them. Why should we suddenly be afraid of them now? 🎙️REPORTER: You spent six years at Barcelona. Does facing your former club give you extra motivation? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: Of course, but not because I want to prove that I belong there. I have already moved on. I know the club, I know the pressure, and I know how everything works there. Some people still think the Barcelona badge is enough to frighten opponents. That mentality is exactly what makes this match interesting. 🎙️REPORTER: Do you believe Barcelona stand a chance against PSG tomorrow? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: They can come and play, of course. This is football. But if you ask me whether I am worried about them, the answer is no. We are the reigning European champions, we have quality throughout the squad, and we know what it takes to win these matches. Barcelona will have to do much more than talk about their history. 🎙️REPORTER: How do you respond to Barcelona fans who believe Lamine Yamal and their other attacking players can destroy your defence? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: They are free to believe whatever they want. Lamine is talented, and I respect talented players. But the media have turned every Barcelona youngster into a superstar before they have even finished developing. Let them play the match first. You cannot win the Champions League with social media edits, comparisons and hype. 🎙️REPORTER: So what is your prediction for tomorrow’s game? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: I want us to win 4-0. I am not going to pretend otherwise. We want to dominate Barcelona, punish their mistakes and remind everyone that PSG are not here to admire their history. We are here to beat them. 🎙️REPORTER: Finally, what is your message to Barcelona supporters who are already confident of victory? 🗣️DEMBÉLÉ: Keep that same energy after the match. I hear a lot of talking about Barcelona being back, Barcelona being unstoppable and Barcelona having the best young players in the world. Tomorrow, they have 90 minutes to prove it. For me, too many of their players are overhyped. If we perform at our level, I believe we can silence that entire stadium.
