@football.scope3: 🚨🎙️ Luis García Plaza BLASTS Real Madrid after Sevilla’s 4-1 defeat: “Honestly, everybody watched that match, and I don’t understand how people can celebrate this result without talking about the refereeing decisions. When the game started, Arda Güler appeared to elbow our player, and nothing happened. I would genuinely like to know what the referee and VAR were looking at because, from what I saw, there were serious questions about that incident. He escaped punishment, and later in the same match, he ended up scoring. Then we were given another situation involving Mbappé that I simply cannot understand. From my perspective, our defender was focused on the ball, but Mbappé made contact with his leg, and suddenly it became a penalty. I’ve watched the incident closely, and I want someone to explain why that decision was given. Reporter🎙️: Are you suggesting Real Madrid benefited from the referee’s decisions? Luis García : I’m asking a simple question: why are these decisions not being judged consistently? If other teams are judged by one standard and it becomes something different when Real Madrid are involved, then fine, but explain it to us! You cannot expect teams to remain silent when they believe decisions are going against them. Real Madrid played good football today, and I’m not denying that. But playing good football doesn’t mean you should be protected from criticism or receive decisions that other teams wouldn’t get. Reporter🎙️: Real Madrid fans will say you’re simply making excuses for the defeat. Luis García : They can say whatever they want. We lost 4-1, and we accept that. We have to take responsibility for our performance. But accepting defeat doesn’t mean we should pretend controversial decisions never happened. If the same situations happened against Real Madrid, their fans would be demanding answers everywhere. So why should we keep quiet? Why should we be afraid to ask questions simply because of the club involved? Let me make one thing clear: I respect Real Madrid as a club. They have a great history, great players and a winning mentality. But football must have the same rules for everybody. Nobody should receive special treatment because of the badge on their shirt. Real Madrid fans can celebrate their victory. They won 4-1, and nobody is taking that result away from them. But don’t tell me there is nothing to discuss. VAR was introduced to help football, to make important decisions clearer and fairer. It wasn’t introduced to leave managers, players and supporters questioning what they have just watched. We can accept losing a football match. What we cannot do is stop asking questions when we believe something was wrong.”
