@fish_on_fridays: Jim Caviezel, best known for portraying Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson’s *The Passion of the Christ* (2004), has been photographed wearing what appears to be a Jerusalem Cross necklace. The Jerusalem Cross dates back to the medieval Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem and remains one of Christianity’s most recognizable historical symbols. Its five crosses are traditionally associated with the Five Holy Wounds of Christ, while another interpretation connects them to the spread of the Gospel to the four corners of the world. A devout Catholic, Caviezel has never been shy about publicly expressing his Christian faith. Nearly a thousand years later, the Cross of Jerusalem continues to be worn as a symbol of Christian identity and devotion to Christ. ✝️ #Catholic #christiantiktok #CatholicFaith
