I was told by Social Security I was getting my Social Security disability then my ex passed away and they told me I qualify for his disabilities and they said I can’t get both so whichever one was more that’s what I get and it was his eight dollars more so I had to go with his Social Security widows pension so I don’t understand how people get two or three checks😳

What can you help me every time I call Social Security they give me the runaround. I’m 65. I was divorced in 2006. I have never been my ex four and it’s receiving Social Security an gets 3100 I am only getting 426 from him and I only get 648 which leaves me close to 1100. Why am I not getting anymore? I just don’t understand.

I get 2 payments, 1 from my work history and 1 from my husband's. They are combined into 1 direct deposit each month. So yes you can get 2 payments a month.
