@eraycekicc: All Might, known in civilian life as Toshinori Yagi in Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia, is closely tied to the phrase Plus Ultra, a rallying cry that essentially means going beyond your limits, which he carries as both a personal motto and something he tries to instill in every hero he meets. Throughout his career as the Symbol of Peace, he treats whatever he is currently capable of as a floor rather than a ceiling, consistently pushing past the point most people would consider reasonable in order to save one more person or close one more gap between victory and disaster. This mindset becomes even more striking once his body is revealed to be severely weakened from an old injury, since continuing to operate at full intensity costs him far more than it once did, yet he keeps reaching past that cost anyway rather than settling for a safer, smaller version of heroism. He eventually passes this same philosophy on to Izuku Midoriya, framing Plus Ultra not as a one time burst of effort but as a standing refusal to accept your current limits as permanent, something to lean into again and again whenever the moment calls for more than you think you have left. That idea becomes the throughline connecting his own rise to the top of the hero world with the next generation he spends his final years training, making going even further beyond less a slogan and more the actual mechanism by which his legacy continues after he can no longer carry it alone. #fyp #relatable #allmight #toshinoriyagi #motivation
