Failed 2 classes, 2 different cohorts. My friends are ahead of me, it sucks seeing them during passing periods but it’s okay!!!! We got to keep going!!!! 🥰❤️

Oh, Pete. My sister and I both failed out together one year and I went back and she didn’t. I graduate in May! I did it all by myself and meeting a few people along the way. She was my best friend through it all and then she wasn’t there. You can do this. I promise it sounds hard, but you can get through it. You will meet new people. UALR here too. 🫶🏻

I failed a class, my friends went ahead. I was passing with an A. Then 2 weeks before finals a truck flew through an intersection and threw me across the street. I had to take a medical leave😞. I just got back to school 2 weeks ago. I came back and all my friends had graduated. Last Tuesday I got to my car after lab and cried my eyes out. Even though I only have 2 semesters left, it feels so lonely.

So listen it took me five years to complete a two-year bridge course from LVN to RN but the point is I finished you’re not in school for friends. You’re in school to become a nurse.

You’re such a good soul :( u caring about ur friends will mean the world to them. My first half of nursing school was the darkest time of my life. Dealing w dv & the stress of school was so much. I felt so alone & didn’t think anyone would notice if I left or not.

I will never forgive nursing school for what it did to me and is still doing to me, but it’s OK. I’m going to get my degree and dip.

😭😭😭🥺 I remember when I didnt pass my stateboard exam, I just sat there with the paper with the words FAILED on it and complete strangers (other girls who took the exam and passed) came and hugged me when they saw me crying.

Gets you prepared for the real world. When you finally land that job at your dream hospital/unit, you will form bonds with certain coworkers that are irreplaceable. If you’re lucky, you’ll form those bonds multiple times in your nursing career. You’ll be the dream team. Then, they’ll start moving on to the next thing or ..maybe you will. It is life, no one stays because your goals will change all the time. Cherish the memories made, but don’t linger in sorrow too long because grief is the thief of joy. Form new bonds in your new cohort. It’s all about growing after all 💗.
