@thisismoney: MANCHESTER CITY ALLEGEDLY GAVE POLITICIANS MORE THAN £25,000 IN GIFTS OVER A DECADE. Manchester City reportedly provided politicians from across the political spectrum with more than £25,000 worth of gifts between October 2014 and May 2025, including complimentary football tickets and VIP hospitality packages. Labour politicians received around £14,000 of the benefits, according to reports. The disclosures have raised questions about the relationship between football clubs and politicians, particularly where hospitality is involved. Receiving declared gifts does not in itself establish wrongdoing, and the figures relate to benefits reported over the period rather than allegations of illegal payments. #ThisIsMoney #Money #News #UK

bro thats like 2k a year is that supposed to be a big deal

Nick Church35 :

They didn't give them physical money. it's £25,000 worth of tickets/hospitality tickets. Fairly normal amount over 11 years. Everton do the same for Burnham, Arsenal did the same for Starmer etc etc
