In 2012, Peter Ramsey was found guilty of raping a lady he had met on PlentyOfFish.com in August of the previous year. When the woman refused to kiss him good night, the 26-year-old former personal trainer knocked out her front teeth and left her with 21 different injuries, including horrifying face wounds. The woman testified during his trial that they had a pleasant evening in Brixton, but when they arrived at her house, Peter Ramsey changed. She told Inner London Crown Court, "I thought I was going to die." DNA evidence and the woman's pilfered Oyster card led to Peter Ramsey's capture. He received a 12-year prison sentence after being convicted guilty of rape, theft, and wounding with intent to inflict serious bodily damage. During the hearing on Monday, David Smith, Peter Ramsey's attorney, asked the court to step in and provide him with additional protection while incarcerated. He stated that he is extremely worried about his safety because it has now come to light that he is incarcerated for rape. We hope the governor will pay attention to what is being said to him and reevaluate his stance on the general wing. Judge Lucas requested that the prison governor be informed that Ramsey needs to be sufficiently safe while incarcerated. The court also heard that Peter Ramsey's partner intends to pick up his vehicle after the police release it. Following the most recent incident on September 4, Peter Ramsey has been remanded in custody pending sentencing.
