Nobody expected a secret documentary about Elizabeth Holmes to become one of the biggest movie conversations of the year. But A24 managed to turn a three-hour film into a viral sensation, complete with packed theaters, long lines, and memes flooding social media. The documentary, You Can See Everything, was co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. It follows Holmes, the controversial Theranos founder whose company became infamous for claims about its blood-testing technology and whose story ended in a federal prison sentence. Just weeks before its release, most audiences barely knew the project existed. A24 kept production under wraps for years before revealing the film at the Telluride Film Festival in September. Then the internet took over. The documentary reportedly opened with $15 million at the domestic box office, making it the second-biggest documentary debut ever, behind Fahrenheit 9/11. More than 2,000 screenings reportedly sold out, while young moviegoers turned the film into a social media event. Instead of relying on a massive traditional marketing campaign, A24 let curiosity do much of the work. Its trailer featured Fielder asking Holmes whether she truly believed she had done nothing wrong. Her response only fueled more discussion. Soon, memes featuring Holmes and Fielder spread online, echoing the internet-driven excitement that surrounded Barbie and the Barbenheimer phenomenon. The film also earned exceptionally strong early reviews, helping turn a little-known project into a must-see theatrical event. A24's latest success proves that sometimes, the best marketing strategy is giving audiences something unexpected and letting them make it their own. \#A24 #ElizabethHolmes #YouCanSeeEverything #MovieNews #hollywoodnews
