@officerdown_memorial: Trooper Adam Bowen tragically died in the line of duty when his patrol car was involved in a collision in King George County. He was responding to a call for assistance from a Virginia State Police special agent, traveling westbound on Route 3. As he entered the intersection of Route 3 and Madison Drive, his patrol car collided with an eastbound vehicle. The impact caused his patrol car to leave the road and strike a traffic pole, splitting the vehicle in half. The front end of the car continued into a nearby parking lot, hitting three parked cars. Trooper Bowen died at the scene. Trooper Bowen had dedicated three years to the Virginia State Police. Prior to that, he served with the U.S. Air National Guard, participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He is survived by his parents and fiancée. #TrooperAdamBowen #NeverForget #PoliceMemorial #GoneButNotForgotten #ServiceAndSacrifice
