There are millions of ideas, they won't do anything easy to guess since people complained about that. How did it feel random, it was announced? It gives the vibe it did, but that's subjective. The shop set was based of an old myth in 2020 of a knife existing called the mortal knife, the color of it was red, orange and yellow (golden too a bit), it also had the same detail. Of course it won't be entirely revamped and old things will stay the same. The ember and vampires set are part of the hollow series, a pumpkin series, so of course they will go with pumpkins. As you already said, they are "resigned and recolored", so there's lit nothing the same, only the pumpkin but thats part of the series of these types of guns/knifes. Pier is lit the theme of the map, a theme park on a pier, so is the Halloween map, but it is just a revamp of an old map. There was actual thought and effort put into this, people are just to short brained to notice
