Sam The DM :
It's crazy to think that Kenan Thompson has basically been doing the same thing for 30ish years.

I'm at that age where I watched both shows, but somehow I missed this episode

I always hope that SNL would either get the rights to do Cooking with Randy or French lessons with Pierre

Was there any bit that Farley didn’t commit to 100%?

keenan spoke about this in an interview. they were supposed to do some dry runs then destroy the cake in the last take. But Farley rolled in full throttle and skipped the dry runs. keenan and the crew just rolled with it

I remember this sketch from childhood but I didn’t know until just now that it was Chris Farley. Crazy

Heard Keenan say they were supposed to do takes and then go nuts and Chris went full throttle first take and dipped soon after 😂

I remember seeing this. At the time, I didn't realize how similar Chris and Keenan's comedy styles are. I kind of love that.

So Keenan is the only current SNL cast member that’s done a skit with Chris Farley? Obviously it wasn’t an SNL skit but it’s still cool that Keenan got to do it!

Even as a kid, I was a big Chris Farley and SNL fan so this skit had a special place in my heart. I was so excited to see Farley on All That.

Not me laughing hystically from watching this for 10 seconds 😭. As someone born in 1987 (39 now) i knew chris farley and absolutely loved his style and persona… i absolutly loved ALL THAT as well. When this aired i was in awe and couldnt believe my idol chris farley and one of my favs from all that in a skit… i wish i can bring back my self as a kid watching this for first time

Unfortunately, sketch comedy hardly ever hits.

looked like his brother, Kevin was the Ketchup guy. He went through so much loss as well from Chris to one of the members of 2gether, that parodic boy band.

Im in recovery from the 2026 version of his drug of choice. He was definitely a functional addict. We're the types the unless you've known an addict or been one yourself, you'd never guess what was going on under the surface. I remember this skit. I would've been about 11. Definitely my intro to him.

Tyler Reid :
I remember watching that sketch a couple years ago and it killed me because obviously I knew Chris Farley passed that year and looking closely at him, you could tell he was not in good shape (not weight wise, I'm saying you could see the addiction)

What hurt the most was not really realizing the gravity of Chris Farleys passing until years later. We were in single digits. Then we found out what happened, what he was going through, and how things like that can catch up and get away from you
