That smelling like literal death is so accurate it hurts. as a guy who dropped $10k on veneers two years ago, i went through the exact same nightmare at month 6. it's microscopic leakage along the gumline where anaerobic bacteria basically rot trapped food. regular mouthwash does literally nothing because it can't get underneath. you're not crazy at all, dentists just never warn anyone about this flaw

The 4x a day brushing hit so close to home i was literally scrubbing my gums bloody trying to get rid of that exact same smell. my hygienist friend told me harsh pastes just strip the seal. ordered a 2pack of kugig toothpaste two weeks ago. not only is that gross sour taste completely gone, but i can actually breathe around my boyfriend without panicking now. worth every penny

I actually just went and looked up that kugig toothpaste everyone was talking about in the comments. checked the ingredient list and it has the hydroxyapatite + zinc citrate combo. honestly feels like that could actually help your situation, might be worth a shot tbh
