Y’all I’ve been keeping a little secret and today I’ve decided to share it a little earlier than I originally planned. I went in for plastic surgery and I’ve had complications and my doctors told me I needed to undergo emergency surgery to find out why I was still bleeding and ensure I didn’t have blood clots. I’m now out of emergency surgery but I’m not going to lie I’m scared. Y’all know I always say that life is short and how life can change so quickly and that’s why I wanted to share this dream with all of you now. So with that being said, I’m so excited to officially introduce my very first cookbook The Family Heirloom Is an Enchilada Recipe ❤️‍🔥 For those of you who know me you know cooking has always been a huge part of my life. It’s how I show love, how I connect with my Mexican roots and how I keep the memories of my childhood alive. This cookbook has been a dream of mine for so long. It’s filled with recipes inspired by my family, the food I grew up eating and the traditions I now get to share with my husband and our five beautiful babies ❤️ More than anything I want my children to always have a little piece of me. Something they can pass down to their children and hopefully their grandchildren. Because to me food has never been just about eating. It’s about the memories we make, the stories we tell and the love we share around the table. I had originally planned to announce this under different circumstances, but just in case I wanted to share the news now. Life has a way of reminding us that tomorrow is never promised and I didn’t want to wait any longer to share something that means so much to me.
