@scarlettchalk02: Fashion influencers or shopping influencers? 👀 Again, absolutely nothing against anyone who does this, but I think it’s important to shed some light on it for anyone who might not realise how common it is. Just because you see someone doing £1,000+ hauls every week doesn’t mean they’re actually spending that money on clothes. A lot of the time, items are sent back after filming, or the haul is gifted or paid for as part of a brand deal. if someone can afford to shop like that, that’s amazing!!! But please don’t feel like you need to keep up with what you see online or think this is the norm. And that includes me, too! I’ve done big clothing hauls myself but, in my case, they’ve either been paid partnerships or items I’ve saved up to buy. I just think it’s important to be transparent about these things because social media can make spending thousands on clothes look like an everyday reality when, for a lot of people, it simply isn’t! #fashioninfluencer #fashiontiktok
