If the attorney dont do what their client says do, then its not in their best interest. Thats why you have to be careful about these public defenders and attorneys. Their all paid through the same source. You dont have a choice in who represents you? lol

When you can't afford a private attorney and require a public defender, you have the right to AN attorney, not a SPECIFIC attorney, you gotta have a really good reason to ask for a new PD and if you're really lucky and have an excellent reason they'll give you 1 change in who your PD is, otherwise you gotta hire a private attorney if you wanna be picky or take the dumbass risk of representing yourself 🤷🏻♀️PDs often have around 200 active cases at any given time, they can't make any 1 client a priority in order to preserve the right to an attorney for all 200 defendants so you won't get to talk to them very often and when you do it's very quick and to the point without sugar coating BS bc they do not have time for that

From all I can see he should file a Marsden motion to allow the court to make an informed opinion. We don't know enough to make an informed decision at this juncture.
