@chrismarlescustoms: 🏁 782HP OF CA18DET CHAOS! 🏁 Five years ago, this Toyota Corolla KE55, powered by a 1.8-litre Nissan CA18DET, made 782 horsepower on Scott Hoffman’s dyno. 😈🔥 This clip is a power skid. First, second, third, with a little foot brake to keep the road speed down while we tried to bang those tyres! 😂💨 I reckon this was the last Powercruise we took it to, but it might’ve been rolling races. The memory’s a bit hazy, but this little car was wild as hell! There was a heap of research and development in this build. E85 for the main fuel, methanol injection after the intercooler, then one nitrous kit… followed by direct port… and eventually a third kit. We were chasing big numbers, and it split the bores in two cylinders. 💥 The car ended up in pieces and sold dirt cheap. One day, I’d love to track it down, buy it back and finish the mission: 1,000 horsepower! 🏎️🔥 A bit of old school madness from the Marles Brothers Motorsport days.
