@spiralstudio.com: reading human life through nature.🌼 today's lesson: the chrysanthemum and what it can teach us about love. i've been thinking about how easily we confuse the excitement of falling in love with love itself. we expect butterflies, passion and constant excitement. and when those feelings become quieter, we start wondering if something is missing. but chrysanthemums bloom when the days grow shorter, long after many summer flowers have faded. and maybe love has its own seasons too. but the most beautiful part of a relationship begins when everything becomes familiar. when excitement turns into understanding, and affection becomes something we choose every day.i'm learning that peace isn't always boredom, and familiarity doesn't mean love is disappearing. not every love blooms in the warmth of the beginning. some only reveal their depth when the seasons begin to change. spiral studio

This is why true love emerges only after the "honeymoon phase" has faded and comes to an end. At that point, the enchantment vanishes completely, and you begin to see the flaws that were previously invisible to you. It is precisely at this moment that you will discover whether you truly love the person or if you were merely chasing the excitement of the early stages. Many relationships come to an end once they reach this stage; however, for those who persevere and honor their promises, the bond between them grows stronger and far more resilient. Therefore, you must be careful in choosing someone who is truly worthy of your love and your heart, someone who will not abandon you, even after seeing the flaws they once failed to notice.

I can't relate to this fully but I ended up doing something that hurt my ex. I was gullible and didn't realize the mistake until it was too late. And I regret hurting him so much. I hope he heals and finds better, so this does hit a lil close to home. I want to be better at putting my foot down and setting my boundaries so that mistake will never happen again. 4/5 flaws noted, thank you spiral studios. 🤍
