I know everyone hates LinkedIn, but it’s great if you work in accounting/finance. I just have a picture, my job history, skills, and a quick blurb about my experience. I don’t ever post anything, but recruiters reach out to me all the time. I try to avoid the homepage as much as possible and I’ve gotten my last two positions on LinkedIn just from recruiters searching for skills that aligned with mine.

Girly give some advice on how to get a first job… everyone wants experience but no one is willing to give a chance to somoene who is just starting (mind you first corptet job.. most of us have done hospitality at least once..)

I can’t ask or post to my network because my work follows everything. Also, nobody wants to even answer a LinkedIn dm or even accept a connection. I feel I’ve tried everything, and no results. 8 months in, and I might be showing up with a resume at places now 😭
