Have you found your tribe? A community of Jesus followers who point you back to Jesus when you're feeling down. I've noticed something in our community inside of The Disciples Academy. Everyone is carrying something. One member is waiting on results to see if she has cancer. Another member recently broke up with her long-term boyfriend because he was pushing her away from purity. Someone else just found out they have Type 2 diabetes. And another fell back to that one sin they had given up long ago, and are drowning in shame. Every person that joins our community is going through some sort of difficult season. I've noticed something else, it's such a beautiful thing to be a part of a tribe, where we encourage each other, and pray for each other. What a heavy burden it is to carry the struggles you're carrying. Someone reading this is unemployed, waiting for God to give them their break. Someone else is a mom struggling to take care of her kids; I mean the list goes on and on. Everyone reading this is going through something. The question isn't, how do we avoid suffering? Because suffering is inevitable. The question is: Do you have a group of people pointing you back to Jesus on dark days? If you are tired of carrying your cross by yourself, and you want to surround yourself with women who love Jesus with all their heart, then The Disciples Academy was made for you. It's made for women who pursue Jesus seriously, not casually. Who live for repentance, and daily obedience. Who want a little encouragement along the way.
