@brian.anderson.bfdm: How do I find out what caused the green dot on my iPhone? On iPhone, swipe down from the top right to open Control Center. Look at the top of the screen and your phone will show you which app recently used your camera. Green dot = camera, or camera + microphone. Orange dot = microphone only. That’s the part most people miss: you do not have to guess what caused the indicator. The green dot is a signal. First identify the app. Then decide whether what you’re seeing makes sense.
