I love a semicolon but I have to limit them or I'll look like a Victorian author that's paid by the word. I'm a little shakey on when you're supposed to use an em dash and in the era of ai I'm afraid to anyway 😭

New writer here. So, I speak in comma splices. So when I'm trying to stick to my voice in my writing it comes out as comma splices. If I change it then I'm changing my voice...does that make sense? (I'm writing YA Fantasy idk that changes how much it matters)
