@outdoors__rachel: Peak District Bucket List #6 ✅ Magpie Mine Something a little different for number six… Magpie Mine is one of the best-preserved historic lead mines in the Peak District, and with its old stone buildings, chimney and engine house sitting out in the open countryside, it’s a pretty impressive place to explore. There’s something slightly eerie about walking around a site that has hundreds of years of history behind it, and it makes a brilliant addition to a walk around the surrounding countryside. No huge summit or dramatic waterfall this time… just a fascinating little piece of Peak District history that’s well worth seeing. That’s number six ticked off ✅ What should be #7 on my Peak District bucket list? #PeakDistrict #MagpieMine #PeakDistrictWalks
