At Friday’s close of about $146 a share and roughly 72 million children under 18, the total is around $10.5 billion. He has not said how eligibility will be decided, how the shares will be transferred, or when in 2027 it will happen. The pledge came hours after Anthropic announced it would set aside 5 percent of its shares for a public benefit fund.
