im a chevy/GMC man, thats all i have ever owned my entire life, I had a 2019 Silverado 5.3 liter engine and sold it with 400,000 plus kilometers, transmission blew out at 300 kl only because I made a huge mistake getting it flushed out, ( big mistake ). bought a 2022 AT4 with the 6.2 liter engine.. now on my 3rd engine !! ill never ever buy a new gmc/chevy truck again, sucked me dry at $89,000 and still have a few years left to pay on this shit truck, already know other new buys they totally regret it and the 2027 models are garbage, not too mention the control arms are weak and break fast, replaced 7 full sets since I bought this truck... like I said people , take it from a lifer of chevy/gmc owner , DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY NEW PRODUCT, FYI FORD AND DODGES ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE AS WELL, EVEN THE NEW TOYOTA TRUCKS ARE GARBAGE!!! ... I SAID WHAT I SAID. im going back to a 01 to 06 chevy, atleast in those years they were actually built right ... so pissed off of how this company over priced thier products for even more garbage.

Dad had a GMC.. massive torque converter shutter. Brother had a Chevy.. crashed because lifters failed during a highway merge. I have a Toyota.. older than both and cheaper than both.. never had a single issue it just goes

AFM most definitely causes issues. Lifter #6 got stuck on my 4.3. Had to replace cam and lifters. Went back with normal lifters and deleted the AFM.

My eight speed 2wd 6.2 z60 sierra has 206k. I change the trans fluid every 45k and the oil with 5w-40 at 5k. Dyno deleted the AFM. Still runs great and gets 26mpg ๐๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

all the new American made cars are a junk . Two thousand two chevy 6.0 motor four hundred thousand miles. They don't make them like they used to. You're better off buying a toyota or honda

25 years of full size Chevy trucks. Keep each one to 85-90k. Never done anything besides wheel bearings.

If you do the afm delete the 5.3s are really good motors if you have the 4 speed with it

LOVE my GMT800! & would buy another in a heartbeat. Sheโs a gas guzzler and leaks oil BUT swear on my life sheโll take you anywhere you wanna go and back home safely.
