@car.addition.68: Chad Michael Murray Reveals the Childhood Moment That Sparked His Lifelong Buffalo Bills Obsession Chad Michael Murray is opening up about how his lifelong devotion to football—and specifically the Buffalo Bills—first began when he was just a kid in Western New York. Growing up, the sport was a family tradition passed down by his mother, Sheila. Murray recalled that church on Sundays would consistently let out a few minutes early just so the congregation could rush home before kickoff. The exact turning point came during an intense Bills-Dolphins matchup, when legendary quarterback Jim Kelly dove into the end zone to score a game-winning touchdown. Murray said that unforgettable play immediately sparked his passion, sending him and his brothers out into the front yard to recruit neighborhood kids and replay the moment. Decades later, that loyalty has never wavered. His family has held season tickets for more than twenty-five years, and Murray still prefers cheering from the open stands with fans rather than sitting in luxury suites. His wife, actress Sarah Roemer, along with their three children, are now regulars at games in Western New York as well. Murray is now channeling that lifelong fandom into his work as an executive producer on a new five-part Tubi docuseries titled *Just One Before I D*e*. The project dives into the eccentric traditions and deep emotional bonds of the famous Bills Mafia community, capturing the enduring hope of fans who dream of seeing Buffalo hoist the championship trophy.
