Too exposed!! Was drawing my kid pictures of Mike myers with no shirt. The kid wears a tail and cat ears to school and crawls around on all fours. Nah. Inappropriate for me. What are they being exposed to?! Nahh. Not for mine.

Also parents need to be self aware of their bad ass kids and not think that every other child and everyone else is the problem. If your child is consistently having issues with friends, having trouble keeping friends, always fighting with other kids, or just always having some type of drama , your child may be the problem. Childern are completely different when you’re not around

My daughter is 10 and we are REGULARLY having conversations about other kids “My job as your mom is 1. Make sure you grow up to not be an asshole 2. Keep you safe” and the over exposure to everything is the opposite of both of those things IMO.

As a former overexposed child, yes PLEASEEE. I unfortunately grew up way too fast and knew too much, and a lot of that did come from other kids telling me things. I wish my parents had forbidden me to hang out with them, I think I would’ve stayed innocent a lot longer. I’m grateful it made me more mature, but I was also just a little girl

My poor boy lol glad he has friends then cause he definitely seems over exposed but he is an old soul and knows a lot but he isn’t exposed, we don’t allow internet or youtube he absorbs stuff at school 😅

Kids will encounter all types of kids. You can’t shelter them you just need to teach them how to adapt . Life doesn’t work that way.

I just have trust in my kid & how i’m raising her. I know she knows right from wrong. She knows what is expected from her & that she has self control. No one is to blame for her actions/behaviour but herself. . As long as her friends are respectful & behave well when at my house/playbdates, idgaf about their behaviour elsewhere . Not my. Damn kid not my fucking business.. the world is a shitty place, filled with shitty people, i’m not about to continue to that by hating on a kid..
