My daughter has allergic reactions to absolutely anything and everything, but some days she can tolerate the same things, if she gets stressed she has a reaction her temp spikes and she has even had seizures due to this, she’s under neurology due to seizures, haematology due to blood clotting factors, ent due to sudden onset of chronic sleep apnea and needed an emergency tonsillectomy, gastroenterology due to blood in stools since birth, had endoscopy and colonoscopy and all they found was extremely high eosinophils throughout the gi tract, I asked the gp about possible mcas and was referred to immunology, they have given her cetrizine hydrochloride and told she has chronic idiopathic Unicaria, however she is still having reactions 18 months after starting meds, and often has a reaction to the medication, going round in circles with the consultants and being ignored , not sure what to do to help her she’s only 5 x

unfortunately there's not many GPs that have alot of education on MCAS. so you need to pay a specialist MCAS doctor
