@emerald.book: A joint Citizen Lab and Confiant investigation found that Israeli ad-tech firm Discover-Tech weaponized the programmatic ad supply chain to deliver zero-click spyware, buying standard ad slots on legitimate exchanges—including on The New York Times, Fox News, and the BBC—so its code inherited the publisher’s trust. Its platform silently fingerprinted visitors, and high-value targets on Pentagon and NATO networks triggered a Chrome exploit the instant an ad rendered, dropping Candiru spyware with no click and no warning.
