@itsrochelleolivia: I used to pray for God to change my circumstances, not realizing He was using those very circumstances to change ME. 🤍 My mindset. My priorities. My heart. My faith. I’ve been reading something recently that has really been speaking to my heart about the power of stillness in God’s presence. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, achieve more, and figure everything out on our own, there’s something so beautiful about simply being STILL with Him. Because sometimes the transformation we’re praying for doesn’t come from doing more… but from surrendering more. From quieting the noise. From releasing control. From allowing the Holy Spirit to do a work WITHIN us before we see anything change around us. And something I’ve been learning is that when we become more grounded in His presence, we begin to carry that peace into every room we enter. Not because life suddenly becomes easier, but because we’re no longer allowing our circumstances to determine our peace. Some of the seasons I prayed my way OUT of were the very seasons God was using to draw me closer to Him. He’s not just changing your circumstances. He’s changing YOU. 🕊️ “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 A reminder to myself and whoever needs it today: Don’t become so consumed with what you’re asking God to change around you that you miss what He’s transforming within you. 🤍
