Okay so in marching band there is physical exertion called movement and visuals that we do that involves dancing and running across the field to your spot while blowing air into an instrument while doing all that and memorizing EVERYTHING that you do and playing an instrument is a skill because half the people in the world don’t even know how to play them and it could take you years to learn and we do in fact compete in competitions and work together to win them because band is a family and we don’t do good individually. I don’t understand why people don’t think it’s a sport

Yes it's a sport if cheer and dance can be a sport then marching band can because we have to time it with the music while playing music and it's hard to not be a sport
