We need to talk about how boys learn aggression. I’ve personally dealt with three men who think it’s okay to treat me poorly because they watched their fathers abuse their mothers from the time they were toddlers. It’s devastating. But instead of just labeling all men as predators, we need to hold people accountable. Set immediate, unshakeable boundaries the very first time someone crosses the line. Don't let them think it's okay…. Like seriously grew Up like what the Hell? Not okay with at all? Hate that for This man I hate it? So emotionally heart breaking

I disagree! My sons are great partners and their dad (my ex) was a bit of a narcissist and critical of me. So it’s not the only factor that determines how they’ll treat their wives, gf or significant other.

I don’t think this is necessarily true. It is sometimes but not always. Sometimes a guy just is mean. Sometimes a guy breaks the cycle and becomes amazing. But I do believe that the dad does set the original standard. Does that make sense?
