what gets me is patients wanting providers to meet every blessed criteria they want and then get upset about the wait. and then when they ask for something sooner I can say we do but you gotta be flexible with all your demands

That is my biggest pet peeve. I work on an endocrinologist office and we are booked up almost 6 months out.If I tell you I don't have anything available until March of next year please don't come out your mouth and ask do I have anything sooner. Ma'am if I did I would have said so.

I really hate to ask because I don't like waiting a whole month to see a doctor, mine already cancels so often I never get to see them.

I only ask this because I’m epileptic and the nurse will call me to reschedule if someone cancels. They make a list of names and everything. So whoever is on the top of the list gets called first, if you don’t answer it’s onto the next person. There’s been a few times where my doctor wanted me back in 6 months but there wasn’t any spot open for 8 months, so the doctor would have the nurse write my name down to be called if someone cancels. That’s an actual rule the doctor makes them follow. Her and her nurses deeply care for us.
