I call some of my headaches “neck headaches” because I swear I can feel nausea and pain coming from the base of my skull like a bowling ball attached to a bungee cord

do you have endometriosis per chance? there's a thing called nerve growth factor that's found abnormally in people with endometriosis. it causes pockets of nerve fibers that get pissed off in random places in your body.

Ik everyone is saying get checked for endometriosis, but PLEASE also get checked for hEDS. Physical therapy can help that a lot, and it has a strong correlation with autism

Hi, hEDS and endometriosis girly here, when we are on our periods, our bodies release more prostaglandins, which can make your muscles more lax and susceptible to injury!

I have pmdd, and not only does it destroy you mentally, but no one talks about the body pain it causes in your luteal phase. Look into it, potentially. Best of luck to you.

Endo growing on the diaphragm will cause that pain. I don't want to alarm you, but it may be worth seeing a MIGS excision specialist. If it does involve your diaphragm, they'll likely bring in a cardiothoracic surgeon. I recently had my second excision for Stage IV Endo and had organs fused. It's very common, and it's also a pain to treat but worth it.

That might be a migraine induced by your cycle. Neck stiffness is very common!
