@toronto.culture: Toronto’s bike lane removal debate is heating up as Yonge Street, University Avenue and Avenue Road are being discussed as potential next targets under Premier Doug Ford’s plan to remove certain cycling lanes. The discussion follows the province’s attempted removal of bike lanes along Bloor Street West in Etobicoke, which was halted by protesters earlier this week. A screenshot circulating online has raised concerns among Toronto cyclists about further removals downtown. While the province has defended its plan as a way to address traffic congestion, specific removal schedules for these additional streets have not been confirmed. #TorontoCulture #TorontoNews #BikeLanes #DougFord #TorontoCycling
University Avenue is such a mess when it comes to bike lanes and street parking. What they’ve done to University Ave is absolutely terrible. The whole setup is frustrating, and it feels like they’ve made the street so much worse for drivers. Such a disappointing change to the area.

Here's an idea. 🤔 Let Doug Ford rip all the bike lanes out. 😁 Cause he likes wasting money.

You keep going Doug. You're doing a great job. If you run into resistance, the easy fix is to bring a bull dozen and pick up the trash and take it to the landfill.
