cvt is an IMMEDIATE no, I really kind of expected better from Toyota, honestly. looks STUNNING, but I'll stick with my V6 XSE 😌

Imma say this for everyone who doesn’t know the difference, the toyota ECVT in the hybrids is honestly more reliable than regular transmissions, if you actually look and see how it works it’s COMPLETELY different from a regular cvt. It has only a few main components which gives less failure points. I work as a tech and i’ve NEVER seen an ecvt with an issue. The transmissions out

In regard to the no fast charging; Paying for level 3 charging for gas savings actually triples cost compared to just using gasoline. Toyota only added it to the “lifestyle” oriented trims (XSE, Woodland) as a means to support the folks who are very fuel conscious and want to have more fully- electric driving capacity - which “sports car” buyers usually don’t care about! Hence no fast charge on the SE and GR Sport trims. Hope this helps yall!
