@bostonglobe: For years, Starbucks was a fixture of downtown Boston, with locations scattered across its busiest blocks. Not anymore. Business reporter Alexa Gagosz explains what’s going on with the coffee giant. Video by Maria Pemberton #bostontiktok #starbucks #bostoncoffee #localnews
I don't think so lol the Back Bay area alone has so many. I can literally think of 4 locations in that area just off the top of my head

Replacing Starbucks with Blank St will not change anything. Dunkin needs to stop with their price gouging. George Howell and Farmers Horse all the way!

This would’ve been a good opportunity to promote a small local owned coffee shops. But then posting Blank Street and Ralph Lauren. 🙃

Starbucks has terrible quality, and don’t even get me started on how disgusting some of their stores are. 🤢 We should be supporting small, local coffee shops instead! 💙💯☕

Don’t know if it counts, but there’s a Starbucks in back bay and one outside north station in star market.

This is Boston, less than a 30 minute drive from where DD was founded. I'm a real New Englander, if I'm having coffee, it'll be from dunks

being perfectly honest I am not really a coffee drinker at all, but if I do need it I will always prefer Dunkin or even Honey Dew donuts over Starbucks any day. it's a price thing

Karma. They’d scout for little coffee shops and offer the landlord double for the space… when I worked for Seattle’s Best (MIT location) they told them give us this space or we’re moving across the street. 😠

Dunkin is all franchise owned now so it depends on the location as far as pricing that’s why if you go to Dunkin and then go to the Dunkin across the street. The prices are gonna be completely different because they’re owned by different franchises. Also, the pricing depends on where they are located. There’s a couple in high-rises here in Boston and they charge a lot because their rent is a lot. I know our location and post office Square the charger is a little over five dollars after tax for a medium iced coffee. Another location not far from there charges a little over four for a medium iced coffee.
