The critiques you have of this book are literally the same critiques I have about Trad Wife by Saratoga Schaefer lmao. I’m so let down by so many of these trad wife horror books and how they deal with intersectionality but I’m still glad it’s a literary trend, eventually someone’s gonna write a really really good book and it’s gonna make all the duds worth it

Author Miranda Howman :
The sister being married to a woman and also enjoying the tradwife influencer I think really speaks to sterotypes around different political views. Its easy to say conversativism goes hand and hand with homophobia and racism but the reality is that people are far more nauenced than those labeling want to admit. And the fact that it wasn't made into a big point in the book I think quietly points to the fact that you can't know someone's beliefs by only knowing their labels.
