@nickthe9x16: A beautiful, cloud-filled morning at Veteran’s Oasis Lake in Chandler, Arizona. Birds chirped in the cool morning air while bunnies hopped through the feeding grounds and lush vegetation. The cloudy skies provided a refreshing break from the Arizona heat, making it a perfect morning for fishing. I tried my ultralight rod with a bobber-and-worm setup but had no luck. The lake was unusually quiet, with no fish surfacing or jumping, and the water was so clear I could see the bottom. On my way out, I came across what appeared to be a deceased Canada goose lying in the grass. It looked intact, leaving me wondering what had happened.
