My friend got an air b&b for a guys back yard, pool and pool house, (they said they wouldn’t be home) it was a party with all girls he waited for us to be drunk and came out and didn’t leave it was super creepy and weird

As a host, I got a 2 star review because I didn’t come greet my guest every single morning. 🥲 I too like to give guests their space. Now, I say that in my listing - please let me know if you’d like me to check in! 🫠

I will typically leave my more "honest" feedback in a personal message to the host. especially if the feedback isn't anything alarming but would be helpful for the host to consider. I will then leave a kinder review publicly.

My daughter is in Special Olympics and we made it to the state games. I rented an Airbnb that would house her adult sisters, my grandson, my sister and her husband. We thought on our last day that we would like to go to the zoo and we asked if we could have a later checkout time and pay her the difference. She said yes. Then my daughter got sick and we decided not to go to the zoo because it also ended up being 43° that day when the rest of the weekend was beautiful.

My friends and I stayed at someone’s house in Denver a few years ago. The live in hosts proceeded to hang out with us and sang karaoke, super weird.

Different situation here…. My husband was working in New Hampshire and needed to extend his Airbnb by one night. He contacted the host/owner to see if it was available. The owner said because it wasn’t rented that day. He was coming into town to do some work. If my husband didn’t mind him being in the basement apartment then he didn’t mind my husband staying another night. Long story short they ended up running into each other outside, struck up a conversation and ended up eating dinner together and hanging out for a while. My husband even helped him repair the basement door. Lol my husband makes friends with everyone. 😂😂

bro his host should just get on a friend making app if he’s just trying to talk and make friends.. if someone is renting your place the last thing i would think is “omg they want to hang out with me” 😭
