The media are just idiots. As usual completely clueless. What they failed to understand is that JJ McCarthy is six months older than Mendoza. He is three months older than dart. He is far from the finished product. What he showed yesterday is his potential to be in an absolutely incredible quarterback in this league. In his last four starts the Vikings he was 4–0 and they average 26 points per game. Which is actually double what they’re averaging with Kyler Murray this year. He was also the sixth rated quarterback in the league during that stretch. So essentially over the last five games including yesterday’s game with the Giants, he has a 90+ quarterback rating and his play is ascending. It’s getting better. He’s not Jameis Winston because McCarthy is only in his second year technically as a quarterback. Winston is a 32 year-old veteran who’s never gonna get better. The fact that these morons can’t see that is just incredible.

I’ve never seen a college football team win the national championship with a lousy QB. I think JJ was just a bad fit in Minnesota, just like Daniel Jones & Sam Darnold were in NY. Also, JJ & Kevin O’Connell were like oil & water from the get-go.

If you can't make those throws you shouldn't be in the NFL.
