it smelled awful in the dorm for days and turns out it was someone’s worn humid/wet underwear in a bag slightly open

this happened to us, turns out the air vent that let all the air on our floor outside was walled off and all the funky air had been sitting in our ceiling for half the semester 🤗

mine smelled of mildew for the entire first semester until me and my roomate got moved cause matinence finally decided to come check and the window wasn't fully sealed so every time it rained the walls around it were just getting mildewy and gross

My little dorm drawer’s track was super choppy when I opened it, thought it was broken. Took MY underwear out at the end of the year and found a much bigger and worn, crusty underwear in the back that I pulled out with my bare hands. Turns out the drawer was fine. The draws were not. I teared up for sure

I came back to my campus apartment and smelled the most rancid smell of death ever, spent 15 minutes going around until i just pressed my nose up against every corner high and low, it ended up being my upstairs neighbors stench wafting down.

My dorm smelled so bad like boys and sweaty socks cause it used to be a boys dorm. I drowned our entire living suite in clorox and bleach and bleach added dish soap cause I wasn’t gonna play.
