Yep. I had to change my mindset. My reward now for all the extra work I do to make sure all my accounts are handled in a timely manner and documented correctly and all the extra work I do is that I know it’s done correctly so when I pick up the case again, everything‘s already in order. Very rarely will you ever get the race that you deserve so I had to make my peace with that I’ll take whatever pennies they give me but my biggest reward is making sure I’m on top of my shit.

Oh and my favorite part is them having the nerve to say you make good money already. Like Im somehow the problem for wanting to keep up with inflation, cost of all utilities going up, gas and food. Yeah okay what was I thinking thanks for the .50 cents

I was fortunate to learn early on in my twenties I can go above and beyond within the scope of my work title. Anything beyond it not what I was hired for, currently started my first day promoted once more.
